TBD on Ning

You could go crazy trying to figure it all out. I am now basically antisocial... I am slowly trying to rearrange my thought patterns to new ones not polluted by the daily sick things I see. I don't see people much anymore..I see a society of controlled zombies. People with no enlightenment...no moral compass. They think if they believe the words in their religious books they are saved when they buy their guns and try to make others look like devils....Crazy, absolutely crazy...

People dressing up in suits who look in the mirror and actually believe they are better than others because they have one. People who get in jets and helicopters who actually think they are going places other people can't go.The trick (and it really is not a trick), is to see beauty where ever you go. My Goodness...I hang out in Nature and see absolute beauty that makes my heart sing for joy every time I go there, and it cost me no more than gas money, and nothing if you ride a bike and get some exercise....I don't have to go thousands of miles away to put something wonderful in front of my eyes

WE live in a box of wrecked perceptions. When money and things become more important than the flesh of our brothers we are doomed. People think if their party wins they will have more riches, while the riches of the soul are vanishing.....Bottom line, It is all about winning and people don't care who they hurt......

I am not a pawn of the game.....My brain is NOT hooked up to your superhighway wavelink of untruth...I'm outta there. I'm not buying it.

Yup...Paris Hilton...Bad choice, but it wasn't about Paris Hilton in the first place...It was about people wanting to be like other people instead of loving themselves for who they are. All that outside prep to say...Hey!...look at me, I'm special. My personal viewpoint is it is not necessary...Put on a pair of shorts and a tank top and go to work and enjoy it...The suit is all for show.

Everything in history always started small, now we have atom bombs...........How do we make changes if we don't voice our opinions?

OK...Here is a thought...I would like to see all you guys go to work everyday (if you do work) in whatever you feel like wearing, wouldn't that be nice? Why cant it happen? I am sure most people feel the same way..Isn't it a waste of valuable time to spend so much time clothing ones-self? Why cant we change things? I mean why do old old traditions always have to pretty much remain the same? Why are people so afraid of trying new things?

You are all right...Ignore the crazies, find your niche in life, and get on with it. It is still fun throwing out a bone every once in a while though.

Paris Hilton is young, she has a long way to go

You know, when you're basing your argument about anything on Paris Hilton, you have a pretty weak case. First off, Paris Hilton is already last year's news. (You'd be on stronger ground, at least for the next three days, if you mentioned the name "Kardashian)

To quote H.L. Mencken, "No one in this world, so far as I know ... has ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the great masses of the plain people." If you are going to pay any real attention to this stuff, then, frankly, you deserve what you get.

Think back at the Seventies and look at all the stupidities. You probably wore this, for crying out loud

and she was your idol

I'd bet your parents said the exact same thing but somehow, you survived.

I mean we have a good chunk of our population that would burn a person at the stake if they got strong enough.

Nothing wriong with that except the wrong people would probably get roasted.

To get serious for a second (and only a second), if you read history, you will find out that what you see right now is like a comic book compared to some of the stuff that went on previously. The thing is, with the advent of the Internet, Twitter, Fritter, Shitter, and what else, you hear about stuff more now; the information flow is much more rapid. Suffice it to say, plus ça change, plus c'est pareil

So don't sweat it. You can't change it but you can ignore it. If you wade in a cesspool, you're going to end up covered in s**t. So stay away from the cesspool.

Look within, young grasshopper. You have identified the problem. You have identified the cure. You cannot live the lives of others, but you can choose how you live yours. When you're strong enough, call them out. When you're not, retreat into nature and pay them no mind. You will find others who share your view. Gather serenity unto yourself and allow the rest to bay at the moon.

Paris Hilton is young, she has a long way to go. ...it is the media hype that sends people into buying sprees of the things she (or other famous people wear)...Oh Don't you want to be just like her? I am saying it is they hype I don't buy. I don't see myself as better than anyone else, and I don't see anyone else as being better than me. Too me we are all of equal worth, we all have something to give, we are all good people.

There is a climate in our country now, that I never noticed when I was growing up......I am sure many are feeling it...The growing hate, frustration, the need to pack our homes with guns, etc. I know I am not the only one frustrated by this......I mean we have a good chunk of our population that would burn a person at the stake if they got strong enough. Don't you know we have Satin in our midst? They scare me, and they are getting a lot of backing from seemingly normal people...What the heck? Then there is the greed.....I don't even want to go there...I am just frustrated that's all...I'm not going off the deep end for anyone....

Come on, Caseyjo, snap out of it! The world is no different today than it was a hundred years ago or a thousand years ago, and I expect it will be the same in the future. There is mostly good, some evil, but that's the way it's always been. What the heck does Paris Hilton have to do with my life? or yours? Nothing, nothing at all, unless we choose to make it so. I don't see her as bad at all, she was born into a set of circumstances different from yours or mine. We don't know how we would behave under the same circumstances. Oh, I know, you and I are different , aren't we?

I see a society of controlled zombies.

On behalf of controlled Zombies everywhere (and you could at least have the decency to capitalize their name), I resemble that remark!

Your right anthonyfromboston. It is a halfhearted post. I cannot go all the way without taking my own life. I know I am also a pawn, but I am not going to let them turn me into a Paris Hilton...what kind of shoes is she wearing..bimbo. I guess you miss the part in my post about where I talk about beauty. My life is not void of it and it is the beauty that keeps me going.

I never in my life felt such a discord with human beings but I was taught to see negativity and to know when to back away from it.......Basically, what I was talking about here is the lack of concern for fellow human beings. I would feed you if I had food and you were hungry. I am talking about greed and the continuous brainwashing a person goes through on this earth, so others can use them to get ahead....And where are they going? The same place we all go...Into the earth...I think you must be one of the suits Anthonyfromboston...or you would have been able to read in between the lines.
