About Me:: I am fun loving, intelligent, playful, and serious. I work hard and want to play hard also. I ride a Harley, I am working on my PhD (ABD), and I am a full time professor. I love my job, so I wake up every morning happy to go to work! I was born and raised in Texas. I will always be a Texan at heart. You can take the girl out of Texas, but you can't take the Texan out of the girl!!! I currently live in Florida.

I am a member of Mensa, a Chrome Diva, a mother, a professor, etc. I wear many hats. Some fit better than others, but they do all fit.

I am very tactile, so I like to touch things to learn and explore. I am also very visual and have an active imagination. This can be fun!

I am divorced and trying to discover the world of dating again. It is different now than when I was young. I am a say what you mean and mean what you say kind of person. I think I may be in the minority. I don't like to play games with the heart.

Thanks Deb, Yes Aimee is a chewer! We are working on keeping her on track with toys, but I am resigned to "mistakes". Yes I made all the items in my photo albums. I'm not sure if I should answer this here or on your page! Hmm!

That dog is real cute!!!We have 8 Chinese pugs, a rotty & a Sharpei & our lives revolve around them. The eldest pug is 15 his name is Tyler!

I don't think I like this MASS friend invite thing. I think if someone wants to invite you to be their friend it should be a personal thing, a one on one kind of thing. I don't know, it makes me feel like a collection. I guess I just like the personal touch.

See my beautiful buddy in this picture? I had to put him to sleep last week. It was HEARTBREAKING! My companion of 12 years. Some choices in life are made for us, but it does not make it any easier. RIP Tanker!

Reflection

Walking into the sunlight filled field
With the weeping willow slowly dancing in the warm breeze,
The lake smooth on the surface even though
Underneath life flourishes,
Off in the distance there is a deer running back into the woods.
Always dreaming of the simplicity of that life,
Sitting in this picture perfect landscape thinking to myself.
Why must we make life so difficult?
Every once in awhile you need to stop and enjoy the scenery,
Because life isn’t about how much power you have
Or how many friends you have,
Life is about trying to find what makes you happy
And not getting caught up in the everyday nonsense.
This field put everything into perspective,
