Robin has handed me the keys to TBD so that I may press them in my scrapbook. A long time ago I was PrunellaFarquar and I enjoyed actively posting on these pages. TBD saved my life so in return, I have saved it. Real life presses at me from all sides right now, so I will simply give the site the care it needs to continue. It has existed for a handful as a nice comfortable place to meet and exchange thoughts. It will continue to be available in that capacity. I am not keeping this site open as competition for the new one that some very creative and industrious members are currently enjoying, I simply want members to be able to come and go as they please. This site has been a sweet Haven for some and I don't want that to die. TBDning will stay as it is for now. There will be no grand re-opening, no remodeling, no redecorating, no free car wash, no green stamps...nothing that wasn't here for the past several months. No changes at all. Just open doors for those who want a place for retreat.
Happy New Year to my friends and acquaintances! I hope this isn't posting on anyone's wall! I am currently without a computer but do have a semi smart phone. May the new year bring you nothing but joy. I've new adventures planned and I'll let you know about them as they pan out. For now... I wish you much love and laughter. Keep in touch! XOXO
here's a picture from the mid '80s of Robert Earl Keen '78, Porter S. Garner III '79, President and CEO of The Association of Former Students and Lyle Lovett '79. Three guys I went to school with.
This is a lamp that I had in my antique shop for quite awhile before I could identify the material it is made from. I eventually ended up with two of them and gave both to my daughter cause she is a lamp nut! Anyway, after I found out what it was, every time someone showed interest, I made them hold it in their hands before I told them that it was made from a dried camel bladder. They were probably made in the 1940's and 50's as a tourist souvenir. Hmmmm, funny, no one ever bought either one. Anyway, I gonna ask my Dr if he can put my bladder in a jar so that I can bring it home, dry it out, and paint it!!!

On December 31st, right before midnight, be sure to raise your left leg....that will guarantee you start the new year off on the right foot.
