that I feel I would like you to know in relation to your poem on the Peace Indian,

as I felt it may not have been appropriate to do so in the Discussion 'Keeping

Our Minds Sharp'.

I acknowledge your Poem of the Peace Indian with a deep sense of loss Julia,

we, the white ones are amassed in such huge numbers now and I fear

that we could never go back and use their great examples of how

to treat Mother Earth, but we can honor the Peace Indian

for the examples they have left us,

as individually, even on small levels, we can each strive

to make a difference by becoming more conscious of our own 

actions and decisions we make on a daily basis.**

Well I tried to send you a beautiful picture of the Mission Inn, in Riverside, CA all lit up for Christmas but I don't see it now.  I am not sure what happened.  But, thank you for the beautiful Christmas greeting.  Merry Christmas to you as well. Thanks for making me feel welcome my first few days on TBD. 

Julia, I can sympathize with you.  I grew up in Spokane and remember lots of snow shoveling and walking to school on tops of snowbanks created by the plows.  The only thing we have to worry about in Seattle right now is how many dry days will there be.  Our five day forecast calls for highs 42-46, lows 34-38, and showers every day.
