Hi John - in answer to your question about what's unique about TBD - its this group of people & being able to find an interest group(s) that fit you where you can comment, discuss & make friends as you go.

You're right John this is very much like highschool when you put it like that - OMG what am I doing here - I hated highschool - LOL.

Hav you joined any groups yet? It took me a good 6 months to settle in here & find the groups I had fun with & feel comfortable with the people. Of course TBD in those days was a different site - when they moved over here to Ning a lot changed.

Welcome John, I was spoiled by the old TBD site and feel like a newbie on this one. Have fun exploring!

Hey John, I am a dietitian and am adjunct faculty in the Dietetics & Nutrition group. I teach a class called Food and People - how economics, location, religion and access affect food choices throughout the world. It's a fun class.

My dog is currently snubbing me, I think I've been to preoccupied lately. She will lay by me, but if I get up she takes off on a dead run like I will do something to her. Or she stays just out of my reach so I can't pet her. She use to woowoo when I came home and talk to me, now its a quick little excited thing and she walks away. I'm getting a complex here.

Got your message, I wouldnt call myself a guitarist, because I dont practice enough to be that good, but I do know how to read music and I have a great interest and love for music, I play piano better actually. Music is a neccessity , inspiration & desire in my daily life, that includes singing and dancing too! BTW, are you a musician? and how did you learn of my guitar playing?
