Oh we can do either I think! We can share all kinds of art and have general discussions like the what is art one that is going on now. So glad you're here!
i suppose we are all artists in some way, whether it be photography, sculpting, literature, painting, either freehand or paint by numbers like me.
there are so many things that may be construde as artistic. including music and food. both of which i enjoy-most of the time.
i can draw flies in the summer, but that really shouldnt count though, because i really do smell when that happens. but the ancient masters smelled all the time. i think they may have taken a bath once a year, if that often.

Art is the builder of civilisations. From the first hands painted in caves to the modern forms . They are all the the expressions of humanities dreams, fears hopes. It is the way to portray the abstractness of our feelings.
it's a 1/4"=1'-0" scale model of a stage setting for a new play; a comedy called TWO JEWS GO OFF TO WAR. It is the remains of the synagogue of the last two Jews of Aghanistan. The play is based on the true story of these two men.
I started painting last year while at work (a call center for a cruise line that recognizes passengers who want to 'escape completely'!! yup Princess Cruises) in between phone calls. Annd...depending on the caller, sometimes durrring the call!! hehe
Anyway, I left it for awhile and then this past winter started again. I have a coworker who has taught painting at the community college level so have a coach when I need one. I've progressed from watercolor, which I still enjoy, to oil and have played some with acrylics.
I am beginning to think about doing an exhibit and just want to know how to go about setting one up. Any ideas??
I've barely had time to doodle, but I have been doing a lot of performance art. I call it 'my world'. It involves the artist performing mundane domestic activities: doing dishes, folding laundry...etc.
