We've grown older. As we grow we gather friends, especially in these days of Internet and social networking. But as the years pass we begin to lose the ones we love and while we are able to move on as we should, there is a part of us that wants to hold on...and to not let the world forget that someone existed, did their time and left us.
This is the place where those that are gone remain alive in our memories.
I begin it with some TBD members that live-on in my own heart, but everyone's memories are welcome. Open a discussion for anyone close to you that you choose not to forget. Post photos, post the laughter, post the joy...post the tears.
This group is for them.
From post on fb by Robin Wolander:
For long-ago TBD members here on Facebook, many of you have asked after Kat Brennan, akabukowski, over the years. I am sorry to announce that she died yesterday after years of lung illness - for an avidly fit person like Kat, an unfair way to go.
I loved working with Kat and we've stayed in touch in the 15 years since TBD ended. She was brilliant, complicated, mercurial (along with her red hair), loyal to a fault and with a truly generous and expansive heart along with her wicked sense of humor.
Kat had a great impact on many people - in the days since Brian Hicks told me about Kat being in the hospital, other ex-TBD staffers flocked to see her. I am so glad I got to say goodbye to her. Kat's memory is a blessing.

I had lots of lively exchanges with Kat over the years on TBD "prime." I loved her thoughtfulness, intellect, and witty rejoinders. I'm surprised and deeply saddened to hear of her passing.
I hope everyone who loved her finds comfort in their memories of her. <3
