    showing a picture, he asked:

    "is this your wife?"

    'yes'

"i'm sorry but it looks like she was hit by a bus"

'i know but she's good with the kids'

This year, Father Christmas had a full Moon to light his way! The full Moon fell on the 25th of December for the first time in 38 years.

In Native American cultures which tracked the calendar by the Moons, December’s Full Moon was known as the Full Cold Moon. It is the month when the winter cold fastens its grip and the nights become long and dark. This full Moon is also called the Long Nights Moon by some Native American tribes because it’s near the winter solstice—the night with the least amount of daylight.

The Cold Moon will not fall on December 25th again for another ~38 years.

Today marks 35 years of wedded bliss!!

  • Karin M Fichtner

Well, Happy Anniversary, TBD!!  Thirty-five years is something to be proud of.  I have 35 years of marriage.......if you add all three together.  :-)

If you add both of mine Karin, I end up with 42. But I honestly feel like I have been married to this wonderful person my entire life. Everything that happened before happened to someone else. I was never "me" until I met her!!!!

  • Karin M Fichtner

What a wonderful thing to say!  You two are very lucky; few people achieve that kind of happiness.  God bless you both.

I know ur tired of having surgery, TeeBubba, but try not to worry about cataract surgery; they say it's a pretty easy surgery.  In fact, the eye dr. told Hubby, who's dealing with glaucoma, that it'd really be easier to treat him if he had cataracts.

  • TeeBubbaDee

The surgery should be a piece of cake. I just don't like the restrictions on activity after the surgery. (no bending over, and not picking up anything over 20 pounds)

  • officerripley

I know, trying to think of any kinda surgery that doesn't have the darn restrictions afterwards but can't think of any, it's always somethin, isn't it?

  • TeeBubbaDee

    ALWAYS!!!!!

  • ProblemAgain

the cataract surgery is a wonder. you go in with bad vision and come out with vision BETTER than when you were a young person. mine went actually improved to 20/15. and do be  careful of the restrictions so you don't end up with floaters from straining when you bend over or pick something up. wait to bend over till you know each other better

  • TeeBubbaDee

    We do think alike Karin!!!!!!!

Was supposed to have cataract surgery today. When I was at the DR's a couple weeks ago, they said the 21st was surgery day, and that I would need to see the DR again on the 22nd. They didn't have a time for the surgery, but said they would call as soon as they had a time slot for me. I started using the eye drops 4 days ago as instructed. When no one called with a time yesterday, my wife called the surgery center, and they said they didn't know yet, but would call back before 5 o'clock. At about 4, my wife decided to call the DR's office to see if they had a time. She was told that my insurance hadn't OK'ed the procedure yet, so surgery was canceled. GRRRRRRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
