Home, and doing pretty good. Got out of the hospital late the night before my birthday. Probably should have stayed because I was in bad shape for two days. (Stomach cramps for two days straight, at least a six on a scale of 10)

Yes Karin, I'm doing a little better each day. I've lost 40 pounds in the last 6 months, and seem to have lost a lot of strength at the same time. I woke on the right side of the grass this morning, so that's a good sign!!

A high of 78, with a low of 60 tonight. 60 is pretty chilly, I'll probably have to make a fire in the fireplace.

Oh, my heart pumps purple Kool-Aid for ya Teebubbadee...lol...60 degrees huh? You know how you taunt us, yet you go on about your coziness...sheesh...lolol

I could use some of that (what we called) purple passion.

Made it almost two weeks without a trip to the hospital. Checked in last night with a temp of 102.5. Next hurdle is having the nephrostomy tube replaced with one with a larger stent.

I'm sorry too to hear that, TeeBub; my thoughts & hopes are with you too. Hang in there.

Thanks guys!!! I'm back home (again) and feel fine. They put the largest stent possible in the ureter, and they will check it in two months. If the ureter won't stay open by then, surgery will be the only answer. My urologist really doesn't want to cut me again. I think he is mainly concerned with creating more complications, but he has pretty much run out of options.
