My DVD Collection

Right now, everything on TV is either reruns or ‘reality’, which I don’t like at all. So I decided to find something else to watch. That should be easy, since I have a huge library of tv shows and movies on DVD. I started out using VHS, then I copied my favorites onto DVDs.

I recently came across a music video from an old British TV series I liked called Star Cops; and I really wanted to watch that. It only had 9 episodes. I had saved those on 2 DVDs. But when I decided to watch them, they are simply not here. I guess I must have decided the DVDs were ‘bad’ and pitched them.

While I was looking for those, I ended up setting aside at least half a dozen other TV shows to watch later.

I started with “7 Days”–starring Jonathan LaPaglia & Don Franklin. It was about a secret project that could send 1 person 7 days back in time. So far, I’ve only watched the 2 part Pilot episode.

I haven’t decided if I’ll watch more of those or switch to something else. I have quite a few that were 'single' episodes, as well as a number of series where I had all or most of them. Here are a few of the others I put aside to watch:

“Time Cop”, based on the movie & starring Ted King and Cristi Conaway.

The Original CSI: Vegas (1 special episode)

  MacGiver: Eye of Osiris (original)

Then I found a few ‘end of series’ 2 part episodes:

Rizzoli & Isles, Royal Pains, & Monk

As I said, I haven’t decided which to watch next! It may be hard to choose.

I still have large collection of DVD's including TV series. But now I mostly watch free Roku old tv shows and movies.

My ROKU lasted 2 yrs, lol. Yes, I loved all the movies & tv shows I could find on that. But the old tv I'm using now has many diff 'inputs' so I can watch everything on the big screen. I'm now 'saving' favorite movies on the DVR. And...I actually found Star Cops on YouTube, so I'm watching that now on computer.
