I've been using Laptops for a long time now. And every single one gives me the same problem: when I try to type, the cursor will 'jump' backward & end in the middle of a previous word! Which is a royal pain!! So, even with a laptop, I've always used an external keyboard.
I have no idea why this happens, but it's so very annoying. So when my daughter decided I needed a desktop, I figured I won't have that problem anymore.
So I'm now using my new desktop, here on my desk. The funny thing is, this will only 'accept' the keyboard that came with it--or my mini Bluetooth keyboard.. I'd prefer my previous external keyboard because it's a bit smaller'. But even though this says it's available, it simply won't let me use that keyboard. Very strange! So...I have a choice : this large one or the mini--when I really want a 'medium' size!! The problem with this large one is that I often hit the wrong keys due to its size.
However, I do keep my good laptop on a table next to my rocker & often use that. And yes: it's a constant problem, stopping to go back & fix the previous sentence. But that tray-type table is too small for an external keyboard.
Why do computers make things difficult? It's like they have a mind of their own.

Now that I got a laptop I forgot how sensitive it is with just moving the cursor around. Taking me quite awhile to get used to it.
