Motherhood
Eliza Welch is a former fiction writer-turned-mom-blogger who lives and works in two rent-stabilized apartments in a walk-up tenement building smack in the middle of an otherwise upscale Greenwich Village. On top of it all, Eliza decides to enter a contest run by an upscale parenting magazine. All she has to do is write 500 words answering the deceptively simple question, "What Does Motherhood Mean to Me?" You may not believe this but I will be going to see three movies this weekend! Saw VI, Cirque and Stan Helsing.
I'll let you know what's up!
Peace.
You're quite the lucky one Horace! For me, it's SAW VI this weekend!
I will tell you right now--do NOT go see Antichrist! It is an abomination! It's horrible! I almost walked out of the theater (and I have never EVER done that in all my days!)
I am a big fan of Willem Defoe and was just horrified to see him in something like this!
I tell you, if you want to see it, wait til it goes to an inexpensive theater or rent it. You will be so pissed if you spend more than two bucks to see it!
I wish I could just delete it off my list! But I have to be fair and unbiased when letting you know what's coming out! But, if it sucks, well, I have to say something....
Thanks for the heads up. I saw the trailer and it looks too weird, even by horror fans standards.
About Paranormal Activity, the hype had me going , I went 2 hours from my house for a midnight show after I got off work.I sat with friends and hubby with a mixed audience that ranged from teenagers to middle aged( so all spectrum's were covered ) .The story is a build up to something better, little things happen but not until you get towards the end of the movie. I would have wished it had more exciting things happen before and in the middle to help strengthen it because it gets weak and people were complaining. It has a good comic scene( Monty python gets a chuckle) all in all not bad but I wish it had more to offer. I didn't hate it and I know hype is hype and a reason for limited viewing .To get actually scared wait till DVD and see it at home with your surround no lights and what God gave you an imagination . I hope this helps.
Great perspective Felicia.
Paranormal beat Saw VI at the box office, and the surprise is that this was no surprise!
More people will wait until Halloween draws closer. But some whispers state that people are waiting for reviews from regular folks to see if it's the same ol' same ol'.
It isn't! LOL!!!
