A HUGE hug and thanks to those of you who check in - sorry I've been so lax - it's been a challenging summer, and yet again I find myself on a borrowed LT as twice this year I've suffered the dreaded "crash". Oh well - onward and upward as the saying goes. Hope to be back in full fettle in the early Fall. I miss our fun. Hope you will all join me again when the time comes to play. Love & hugs!

Hi, Ladies.

Just dropping by to say hello and lend moral support.  I've mostly been hanging out on the Wall of Gratitude on both sites and I confess it is a relief not to have to run back and forth any more.  When it looked like TBD was going away again, I went onto MA to set up another Wall just in case.  The two virtual communities were very much like real life in my experience:  There was a lot of overlap and intrigue and varieties of temperament.  I mostly did what I have always done:  observed and tried to hold my tongue.  I understand how hard it is, Dazz. It's a lot like family.  My family, anyway.

Was being a bit lax on MA in the recent months, so this move will be good for me...maybe will stir up the motivational waters and get me out of my funk...this time of year...well, i could just stay in bed and read all day long...usually for people it is winter time, if that happens at all, for me it is in the spring...

well i am up and at em today...as work must be done...

Thanks belle, I can use that. I have not been a real active member of TBD ning so I am struggling to get used to the layout. I miss the news feed on the side and the order of the groups doesn't change even when you change it to latest activity. 
Sigh..okay enough complaining, I am just glad I have a place to land with my friends.

Ah! Sweet! Hangs head and blushes - seriously. Sticks toe in - well shoe - old worn out shoe and I'm  so happy to see you guys back! Eating a bit of crow - nice Southern recipe mind ;))  Earende, Belle, Thally & Marty Mill! Yeah! Joella  - thanks so much for being here to welcome everyone. I've been stuck with a cranky slow notebook - no electricity due tornadoes - and other odds and sods that has me way way WAY behind all skds. Three cheers for Joella!

As for MA - the latest is this emmbeded screen shot  "Gone? LOL No Way ...",,, " so that bods well for those who will want to return.  One thing I have learnt the hard way.  I will never again pick one side or one social site over another.  Nor will I devote hours upon hours of  time to one site when I don't have a financial stake or some sort of compensation for duties above and beyond the call of duty. 

 

So relax - unpack - and let's have some coffee or tea or a good stiff drink and have a yak! Bitching allowed. Please be discreet.

Thank you Joella for helping to breath life back into this group. I have checked on it almost daily and vowed to always be here if anyone wished to post. My co-mods have always felt the same way. 

As one reads through the many posts - it will seem dis-jointed at times, when members left TBD their posts disappeared, so new members - kindly keep this to mind. 

A recent life lesson I have learnt the hard way.  All that glitters is not gold and it is not always greener on the other side of a fence. Flattery is all well and good, but being too susceptible to it - was my eventual downfall. Mea culpa.

With your lovely kind of energy, we now have just the right inspiration to revive this group , and with DD's fantastic contributions with music by women for women - we can continue to be of help and support to one another. Again ~ thank you Joella, especially for assisting our DD in the reformation of her music discussion ~ which was much adored elsewhere. We will re-build.
