Seeing some of these beauties may lead a horseless rider to a horse that needs a loving, forever home. Please add any horses you know of and their important statistics and contact information.

This gorgeous and well bred 15.1 hand trotter retired from the harness races in 2006 and was transitioned as a road horse for roadster classes (he even won a championship!) and then a pleasure driving horse prior to finding his way to New Vocations.  In a short period of time Petey has picked up some serious skills as a riding horse too.  Not only is he incredibly well conformed, sound and athletic, he also shows a natural ability to smoothly gait under saddle. This fancy gelding has racking horse written all over him!

Description: "Boris" is an absolutely stunning Standardbred gelding with great movement!. He is taking some time off before he starts in a training program, but he has begun ground work and is a great horse to work with. His has an easy going and extremely friendly personality that makes him a stand out amongst volunteer favorites. Boris will be started under saddle soon. He is currently located in Syracuse, New York.

BE GOOD TO ME--Lucky is an eye-catching 10 year old Standardbred mare, standing approximately 16hh. She competed in 2013 and shows huge potential in the dressage ring! She is 100% sound but due to an old racing injury, she is not suitable for jumping. 

She loves to work but can sometimes be strong in the bridle and a bit spooky. Lucky however does listen extremely well and showed great poise during the 2013 Ontario Standardbred Show Series Circuit. 

She does prefer 24/7 pasture and is a happy mare who gets along with everyone in a mixed herd.

Sanctify is a stunning 6 year old, 16hh Thoroughbred gelding who is ready for a new career through the ReRun Thoroughbred Adoption program. Sanctify is currently located in East Greenbush, NY with the adoption fee of $1,000.

Sanctify is clean legged and suitable for all pursuits. He was recently gelded and as such is looking for an experienced handler (not suitable for 24/7hr turnout, cannot be turned out with other horses, nor stabled close to mares). He is good to handle in all aspects and has no vices. Sanctify is looking for an experienced home that can bring him along.
