Which is worse, a man who will not tell the truth or a woman who will not let him get away with telling a lie?

Neither is worse. They both are equally egregious.

A habitual liar or a harping partner actually belong together to save the rest of us the horror of cohabiting under the same roof.

The FIRST rule of any relationship, not only marriage is trust. Each member of the partnership MUST be open and honest with the other(s). Qualifying this to allow the errors of omission where the safety of the relationship is not endangered.
