Yup, when I was with someone--but I raced canoes solo, so I mostly did all the paddling myself.

You and John sailed a boat together at least once.

Yes. Mostly rowed and motored. But smile at least once.

You were fond of a shellfish catch

. And fish too

No, not really. I caught my first, and last, fish as a very young child. When I saw blood and realized I'd hurt the fish, I cried for 2 days.

You have attended a real clambake on the beach.

Somebody 's back yard

You remember back yard parties from your youth

I do. "Pool parties" mostly.

You had a birthday party every year as a child.

Very rarely,  and usually just family

Your family liked a good celebration for any good reason

Not really. As a Naval Flag Officer, my dad (and mom) had LOTS of social obligations, so almost every weekend they were either throwing a cocktail party or attending one. Consequently, we had very few family celebrations.

You wish (good) dragons were real.

No, just guardian angels.

In your day, you attended wine tasting visits to local wineries with your friends (or Draughn). I used to do that years ago.

.

(I love your answer. I wish there were guardian angels as well.)

I did a couple of times in California. I'm not much of a wine drinker, though, but it was fun.

Sometimes, when you were around herds of cows or horses or even geese/ducks--lol--you'd go stand out among them and just happily chill. (I did.)

Yes, with the sheep a d the chickens. John's uncle had a farm.

When you were a kid, you scooped up tadpoles in a jar and watched them develop, and then returned them to their pond.

Yup.

You loved climbing trees.

Yes!

You are knowledgeable about which vegetables contain the most protein
