no rest for ranchers
always hungry mouths to feed
and more shit to kick

Labor Day?

Why do Mothers get two holidays?

HAHAHA! The first is hardly a holiday!

hardest work i've done...
of course lots more rewarding
than getting a raise

i imagine you
grilling that 10 pounds of rump
giggling like a kid

your last tomatoes
are ripening on the vine...
goodbye to summer

grilling in georgia
your mind is on the ocean
and my prime rump roast

one last long weekend
before summer fades away...
fall waits in the wings

Happy Labor Day weekend!
