I didn't believe in ghosts until I saw one

Snagg,

Sometimes the paranormal, whether you choose to believe it or not, can be downright creepy.

I had a really bad encounter that left me shaken earlier this month. I was taking a nap on my couch at dusk...Christmas tree and kitchen lights were on. My mom, dad, and son were home. I felt an incipient force (like a magnetic force field) behind me and a sudden shove from behind on my right shoulder. Since there is only a wall and mirror behind the couch I was napping on, I became alarmed. I jumped to my feet walked away from whatever it was and yelled, "Get away from me!" then headed to my bedroom muttering the Our Father. What ever that force was, it had a malevolent feel to it. I felt anxious many days after. I confided what I experienced to my son who usually sleeps on the couch. He too confirmed that he can sense a presence there at night, when the fine hairs on his legs would stand up for no apparent reason. He also told me that these past 2 months or so he felt almost like he was getting possessed. I also confided in a co worker during lunchtime at school. I told her I have been feeling disturbed lately and for no apparent reason since all is going fine in my life, so there should be no reason for me to feel this level of anxiety. She suggested that I speak to a minister she knew about blessing my house with holy oil to get rid of any lurking demons. I am Catholic, but I took her advice and spoke to the Evangelist anyway. He blessed the olive oil I bought and gave me instructions on what to do. I followed his instruction and blessed every portal/window/door in my house. My son and I feel a bit better. The anxiety has dissipated and I could sleep more peacefully at night.

It can be all self fulfilling prophecy, but I don't think so. That entity was a tangible force that disrupted my life and my son's life for awhile.

That commercial was awesome though I was hoping it would regress to amoeba stage. lol

I wonder how dogs use language to 'love." They seem more empathic and intuitive than humans......and oh, they can sense ghosts unlike many humans...but that is another story to tell.

Words we make up are great at making us feel good about ourselves ......But....Geez.....We must me missing a whole bunch .. as cute as Iggy is he isnt enough.....We are running out of dog breeds...Gotta get going on those too. Oh Ya & we gatta get some new cow breeds & do something about those bees from africa & the governments we.....OH gawd........They are us....Maybe peace & less is the way. Anyway....I am happy with our language which is a huge part of how we learn how to love,,,Using our hands & voices together to make things...the finest thing of all ...our art....our putting our minds & hearts together to build.....Space remains the same...space....many put this thing named God into it to understand it, but it still remains the same...just another word given with a voice seen by eyes.

Snagg,

Thank you for posting that link. It certainly was interesting.

I'd like to think I am both reflective and intuitive which perhaps makes it easier for me to believe in God.  I wonder though what what role creativity and the right brain play in belief.
