false     Have looked it up in the past.   Even then it might have been grandstanding but at least the people were in touch with their constituency and tried to actually reflect how they wanted things voted.  And they were (probably) honest enough to do it.  At any rate, it was a smaller bunch, too.  I remember people saying, "Vote 'em out when they come up for reelection."  Ah, yes.
