TBD on Ning

This afternoon the senior center the next town over had an Elvis impersonator in to celebrate the Kings birthday. He was very good, he said he did 24 songs, then they served Elvis 2 favorite sandwiches, peanut butter and banana and the second was peanut butter, grape jelly and bacon. It was a fun afternoon and only cost $3.Lots of people there and they really got into it.

That sounds like a fun afternoon.  Wish I had an active senior center near here.

Me too.

We are lucky as we have the one in our town which is very active and they serve lunch every day. Then the next town over has a smaller, but friendlier group, thats where we go to one of our book clubs.

Sounds like great fun, and very reasonable price for Elvis...LOL!!

Elvis impersonators are usually a lot of fun and they really evoke his persona. Last year I went to see Legends in Concert at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT and of course there was an Elvis in the group. I too wish my senior center had these activities but since 70% or so of the seniors are Chinese, I don't think it will happen.
