TBD

TBD on Ning

Suggestions anyone?

Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Do you like Chinese food?

Hot dogs and baked beans

I made pork and kielbasi with sauerkraut. I made it in the slow cooker I bought at the flea market last week for $5 bucks. I looked it up on line, and the cheapest I could find it was $41 plus shipping.

Let Slim know if you didn't burn it!

At one point I had 3 cookers.   Had I known I would have sent you one for free!

Did any of those three not burn the contents?  I'm convinced there must be an art to it.

I don't know Slim. Yesterday was the first time I have ever used a slow cooker, and everything came out great. I put the pork in first with a little water, and about 3 hours later added the kraut and kielbasi, and a little more water. A couple hours later, yummy!

Let me write that down.

Salmon and potatoes

How did you make the salmon, Goldilocks?  I hope you don't say, "In a slow cooker".

Hi, Slim!

No, I don't use a slow cooker.  I buy the Wholey's brand frozen salmon, thaw it, season it and then bake it in the oven at 425 degrees for about 10 to 12 minutes.  The directions are on the package.  The package gives directions for making sauces for the fish too, if you like sauce with your salmon.

Not sure tonight.  Last night was chicken burgers.  They were okay but the fried onion rings were wonderful!!

Due to scheduling, I had father's day today. Asiago cheese and spinach sausage on the grill with peppers and onions. Steamed cauliflower "potato" salad, deviled eggs, fresh green beans with bacon, and cheese cake drizzled with caramel for dessert. I also consumed several adult beverages. ;-)

That's a lot of food.  You must have a whole bunch of kids!
