TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Our weather has been wonderful.  These are the days that make putting up with winter worth it.  People have been out walking and being friendly.  That can't possibly last.

Why not?

My neighborhood doesn't exactly abound with friendly types.  It starts this way every Spring, but given a couple of weeks they eventually withdraw back into themselves.

Yall need more cows.

Just finished a beautiful weekend.....warm sunshine, good company, peace and contentment.

Hi, Joella!!!!!!!!

....looks like zuckerberg won this night......:-(

I think I'll set up a cot by the door and take a nap.

*ya'll behave*

I would say "carry on" but there is nobody to do it.......

Sleep is wonderful when you can get it.

I'm thinking of buying a bird.

I had the most wonderful birds.  Cockatiels.  Elvis lived happily for 12yrs till she met a very untimely death.  Nicco lived for 22yrs and I miss him a lot.  I still find feathers.

I'm at an age now where I calculate whether a new pet will outlive me.  :-(

As far as sleep goes...some nights are better than others.   I just take a pill for it and don't feel the least bit guilty.

From the Bellville Times May 16, 1912:

Who's to do the work after everybody has gotten into the leisure class?

My dog, Happy, will be 8 years old on the 22 of May.  That is next week. I have read that they now think the average Life span of a Goldendoodle is about 15 years. That means his life expectancy would be another 7 years. I am 74. The life expectancy of American males, Last time I checked, is 76 years. That means that there is a good chance that he will outlive me.  I never have any trouble sleeping, but he get more sleep than I.

I'll bet ya'll are a "pair" anytime. And that's a good thing.
