...The Ranch's answer to you -know - what - with no rules.

Go ahead...tell us what you're having for dinner - we can't wait! Got a cute pic of kitty peeking out of a paper bag? Post it! We live for that stuff!

Math addict? How about a refresher on the Pythagorean Theorem?

Like macaroni and cheese? Tell us why!

So even if you're not a writer or a poet (yet), there's still plenty of fun things to do at the Armadillo!

Oh baby, oh baby!

This is a reply to Marilyn's news of her wedding, but since people can't figure out how to post a post without replying, the option to reply is no longer there.  Straighten up, People! :-D

Congratulations, Marilyn, and your wedding locale looks lovely.

Gosh, i didnt even see that. Much happiness!

Thanks to you both! And ... how the hell DO you post a post without hitting reply?

Who said writers could figure things out?!

The trick is which reply button you hit, Marilyn.  If you want to start a NEW post, you type in the box where it says, "Reply to This" at the top of the page.  If you want to reply to a post, then you can hit the "Reply" button for the post.

More details, please, on the beloved and how long you've been together, where you met, and so on!  This is Twitbook, after all.

TESTING and ... it works! Thank you, Carol T!

And for all fascinated readers, I met Stan the old-fashioned way ... on the internet! A site called "Plenty of Fish" is free and while I was just about to abandon all hope of meeting anyone who was at all serious about becoming serious ... there he was. A professional custom picture framer by trade and musician by avocation, he is one of the nicest men I have ever met. Everyone says so as well! We met at a jazz performance in a church the first time in Sept. of 2010. He proposed at a Tommy Emmanuel concert (you can look him up) in Beach Haven, NJ in front of 450 people in Sept. of 2011. We're doing the aforementioned semi-elopement on Saturday ... then moving into his house, which we've completely renovated.

And that, dear fellow scribes, is Da Story.

It's so good to hear joyous news here - or anywhere. Ah, life is sweet after all.

Indeed it is, and indeed it is!

Congratulations, Marilyn! Great joy to you and Stan!

:-)

Breaking news!  I just submitted my final assignment for my final class for the degree I've been working on for four years.  Whatever will I do with myself?

May I suggest expensive, imported, German beer (to start)...
