I meant that I like to get responses that require thought behind them but most of the time I think it is more than the average person here wants to engage in, not that they can't think but that they don't want to put that much time into. That's okay I get that in real life too; I take no offense in it. I apologize if I intimated something offensive.

Karen Bear, like I said in my note to you, the halls of Q&A are filled, almost exclusively, w/great, friendly, down-to-earth folks that are not clique-ish. Once in awhile a sh¡t st¡rrer soils the halls. Please ignore them & jump in here & hang out w/us. We'd love to have you. And yes, the "pace" or "rhythm" is often off now, b/c there's so few of us, and we're rarely hanging out here at the same time, but I can assure you that when your posts here are not responded to, it's not b/c we're intentionally ignoring you. I like you branching out from the Games threads & hanging out here w/us!

Robbie, we know and see two different people. Debating skill he does have and I admire that, wishing I possessed his keen analytical capacities. He is well read and the depth of his studies has honed a keen intellect. He has very firm convictions especially about the nature of logic and our human natures. When somebody is better than I at something no matter what it is I look up to and want to get that good myself. I also appreciate his linguistic skills and when we talk on the phone it can last a couple hours as he is master communicator. There is little that he doesn't have knowledge of when it comes to current events both domestic and foreign. I guess we appreciate different things in people. There are others' intelligence and with I admire some of whom are still here.

Thank you BAF, Apposite, d's girl and Quinn for responding. I am sorry for being too sensitive. I do appreciate that you took the time to reply. I don't always know quite what to say in some of the threads here and sometimes I don't make it here as often, but I do appreciate how welcoming you have been to me, d's girl and Quinn and I hope we can be friends and have fun interactions in the threads. You are right, d's girl, there have been some nice people here for the most part. Have a fantastic friday, everyone!

I was on the old TBD and just recently began to visit. I really like everyone that I've come in contact with thus far. Everyone seems very welcoming and easy going. I especially like that alot of the posts I read are similar to what I would post in response to some questions I've seem. Sometimes I post off the wall stuff, but I hope you all will keep me in line. I just want to fit in...blushing...Thanks to everyone for making me feel at home.

YVVW , It's been very pleasant getting to know you and you and you and you. Did I leave anyone out?

I'm waiting for the sun to rise. Today it's supposed to be cloudless and bright and I have thrift store opening to go to. Which is my idea of a good time but I'm going to wait until after the sun stops shining directly into my studio windows which face the east. The older I get and the worse my eyes get , the more I understand why Da Vinci wrote so much about the quality of light. I almost refuse to work with color without a bright sunny day to view it in. The artificial light changes all the colors.
