TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

you really should've run around Pru & the RV a few times to greet her properly. Happy is much more hospitable than you.

I'm thinking I might meet you in that NW corner of Georgia for a cup of coffee on your way from Huntsville to Knoxville. Keep me posted on the when.

Happy journey.

...and you, too, Robbie. '-)

Hi, gang. This is one of those things that I can't find an appropriate place for, b/c just a drop in for any ol' reason thread never sticks around for some reason. grr.

Anyway, I just started a new thread in the Alphabet Game, down the hall in the Games room.

It's "Unusual Family Names". We either had a thread like that once or some of us hijacked a thread & had a run of unusual family names. Wander on over there if you're so inclined. I'd enjoy reading anecdotes from you.

Odd weather today.   Rain on and off ...then unexpected  brilliant lightning and loud thunder with not much clouds!

I'm not sure how many more shades of green we can get here.

Caleb and I have been gone since Wednesday morning. We were at Kenlake State Resort Park in Kentucky. We had a good time just relaxing, swimming and eating. Caleb as usual got to know several people in the two days we were there. This morning when we walked into the dining room for breakfast about ten people said "good morning Caleb". Nobody said a word to me.

you're just "Caleb's dad," aren't you?

Thank goodness you have us to give you attention.

...don't introduce Caleb to tbd.

We're going to my grandson's birthday party today. He turned 2 a couple days ago, and we had them over for dinner and to open some presents, but many people couldn't come due to work issues. My daughter and I just went out and blew $250.00 on fireworks. She was going to but a package deal for $150.00, and then I saw another one for $250.00, and kicked in the extra $100. And they were doing a 2 for 1, so we ended up with 2 large boxes of fireworks. Guess we will have plenty of chances to hurt ourselves.

Will the neighbors mind?

Here in 'da hood we are entertained by lots of illegals.  The kind that lift off or shake the windows.  Then on occasion there is that smart "pop pop" sound usually followed by sirens and really fast police cars.  I just love the week end!

BTW...Happy B-day to the grand boy...:-)

Any sort of a "pop pop" within the city limits around these parts brings a siren a quick $2000 fine.
The "pop pop"'s here are usually manually discharged from a 22 or larger...:-)
Never got to see Midnight in Paris this weekend.
