TBD

TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Those are the things that shape us; the things that soften our rough edges and make us understand how to be compassionate individuals in the world. I haven't posted mine there yet, but I truly believe I wouldn't be the person I am if I had not experienced my life in the way that I have. Not easy to go through it, but better for having known it and gotten to the other side of it.

I agree Kate, I don't think a person can understand what it truly means to stand on their own two feet, unless they have been face down in the mud a couple of times.

Well, that hot, humid weather finally made its way up here.  It was 99 degrees in the big city, and just my luck, I had to work today.  When I got home, I decided that, yup, it was time.....time to declare:  its the opening day of "OLD GUYS IN WIFEBEATERS SEASON"!!!   YEE HAW!!!

Excuse me now, I've gotta go flex in front of the mirror.

We won't be needing any pics if you were leaning in that direction...
Oh?  .................well................OK, then.
Had 'em ready to post, didn't you??
Ya know...the excitement...it would be too much ;-)
Yeah, yeah, yeah!  ;-0
Had a bacon sandwich for brealfast. No, not a BLT, just bacon. Figured I would eat some before I went to the DR this afternoon to get the results of my blood work. She is a new DR to me, and I know her eyes will pop when she sees my chloesterol and triglyceride levels. They have been sky high for years, but I haven't taken any drugs for them because of nearly losing my liver once. (and the amount of beer I consume) Anyway, I figure it's about time to take the drugs and see if my levels come down. Damn, I gonna miss that bacon.

Well, I've made the rounds this morning.....starting with breakfast at the yuppie place.

Today I had the Irish Omelet, which contained bacon, onions, potatoes, dill and sour cream.  A little dry, as is the nature of the food there, but like Red Green says "I'm a man...but I can change....if I have too...I guess".  I'm getting used to it there...they have a nice friendly staff, and slowly, more of my cronies are showing up.

Then I stopped in to the Brew-Ha.  Cheryl, the barista, mentioned how much she enjoyed meeting B A F the other day.  I gotta say, that B A F has a captivating personality.  Heck, she even had ornery and snide Bruce being civil when he met her, and he's not nice to anybody!

It was on to the donut shop next.  The place was quite packed when I got there, and then it started raining hard, and hailing (garbanzo bean size) outside, so folks were ducking in just for cover.  There was standing room only at one point, and the noise level was deafening!  Some of us with bad hearing or selective hearing could barely hear each others' lies.

I left there and stopped by to visit my mother.  She was peeling apples for a pie.  B A F and I had run into my mother in the grocery store parking lot on Monday, and briefly chatted.  And yup, you guessed it, my mother had also been capitivated by B A F's charm.

From what I've seen, B A F could get a job in public relations....she's just naturally good at it.

When I come back from the hereafter, I want to be Stir...

Would that be the wifebeater clad Stir then?
