Yeah, I lived on Wilmington Island from 2007-2010.  I loved it there, halfway between Tybee and the historic district!  Still have a very good friend who lives up there, but I usually just drive up and back to see her all in the same day because of my dog.  She has a dog friendly house, but ... one of her dogs isn't friendly toward other dogs, lol!
