TBD on Ning

Every day, it seems like half a dozen friends or so can't help but hit the "Reply All" button after someones sent them a mass mailing.

It goes like this:

Person "A" sends out a brief, "Hi! Doing great! Finally figured out NING! Love you!", and sends it to me, to you, to that guy over there, and to about 157 others.

Then, at least 6 of those 159 people other than me go and hit reply all, and send out a simple "Love you, too!" to me, to you, to that guy over there, back to Person "A", and to about 157 others.

I can only speak for myself, but I really don't need all that spam. If you want to announce some great new thing, I'd love to hear it. Or, if you want to send me some personal note--great! But I know that *I* don't need to be on some "Send All" greet-the-morning-sun list. It's no different to me than finding another flyer for a great deal on a chicken parmigiana hero at the local Pizza shop tucked under the windshield wiper of my car..

Anyone else?

It really has a simple fix. At the top left of all the emails is a small box, click on select all, then click an arrow over on the right and delete all. Gets rid of all the useless stuff, do it often enough and you can quickly scan mail that is for you and get rid of all else.

Is that how that is happening. I could not for the life of me figure out how I was getting someone else's mail. I just deleted them thinking, "well this is odd".
I do really like this sight though. I have sent a mass mailing myself, but I hope getting someone elses mail will stop coming to me, I was a little embarrassed by one, it was apparent it was "personal", oops!
Good to be back and nice to see you Boothby!
