About Me:
I marvel at the world around me. I came over from EONS and am now hearing that this site is considering closing. That's a pretty good indicator of how my luck runs. I'm not here to meet men, but it is always nice to make friends with members of both genders. I feel like I've been spending too much time on the Internet lately, but Baby, it's cold outside. I've worked in data management for pharmaceutical labs for the past fifteen years and am considering retirement. No I'm not. Yes I am. No I'm not. Maybe I am.

There have been reports of a mustachioed narcissistic person named Ken™ lurking about the site.

  • Quinn

The admin of this site has been playing around with member avatars.

We've been having some fun with it, changing ours to match. As you can see the latest is abstract works of art. Last week it was "eyes", before that was people in cowboy hats...

  • Snagg

Hmph. That's MISTER "Mr. Teeny" to you.

Hi Slim, Glad you liked the pic. And no, we don't have a dog anymore. We had barney put to sleep almost 9 years ago. We've had a few, but they have mainly been my wife's dogs, as I've been a cat person all my life. (we have 2 now)When I started on the original TBD many years ago, I wasn't too sure about putting my mug online, so used a pic of Barney as a puppy for my avatar. Not too sure why, but the dog persona stuck, and I've been whacked on the nose with rolled up newspaper and been sent to the dog house more times than I can count. Since then I've used hundreds of dog avatars. At one time I changed it daily for about 6 months. I did have a few members that were curious, and I used my real face last year, but only left it up for a couple days and went back to being a dog. Guess old habits are hard to break. Or maybe I should say you can't teach an old dog new tricks.  ;-)

    Peace,

    Dean

Hmmmm. Well I'm really a cat person, so hopefully I'm not half bad.

    .wink, wink

    Peace to you and yours,
