Profile Information:

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
I am the mother of one daughter, and the grandmother of five grandchildren, but only one of the kids is local. Let's leave that at that.

I read, sew, knit (cables are my favorite) crochet, play guitar, and (obviously) spend a lot of time with the computer. I also have begun to dabble in astrological charts, my own first. Just to see if I can do it. ;)

For some reason, when I start writing, I usually find it easier to write about a topic that's handed to me. This I don't understand. Why can't I just pull one out of my own head? C'est la vie.

I'll do this better when I can take the time to. Right now, the mundane (making a gallon of iced coffee and one of iced tea) calls, then I have to catch up in a cpu[le other places yet tonight. Darn those after Jeopardy naps...

If you are living with lupus, you are no longer "living." You are waiting. Waiting to recover from one flare or for your next one to begin.

November the 18th is the 10-year anniversary of the deadly Aggie bonfire that left 12 students dead.

Texas A&M students traditionally constructed a 59-foot tower of logs for the school's annual bonfire. It was a celebration of the school's big football game against their arch-rival, the University of Texas Longhorns.

On November 18, 1999, the tower was poorly constructed. It collapsed, killing a dozen students.
