Lori Lamberski

Female

Harrisburg, PA

Profile Information:

Relationship Status:
Single
About Me:
Fun loving and spontaneous. Keep pressing forward. Remain positive about myself. Embrace the place where I am at this very moment. Develop my inner life and stay passionate about life. As a victim of domestic violence I find trusting in God is expanding my horizons to becoming a better person. I refuse to live guilty or condemned because of past mistakes. Instead, I step into new situations confidently, choosing to refresh my self-image by speaking positive affirmations and faith-filled words over my life, and determined to keep my inner dialogue positive about myself.
I choose to live each day passionately as a positive reflection of God in our world. I put actions behind my faith and leave a lasting legacy for my family and the world.

If you are living with lupus, you are no longer "living." You are waiting. Waiting to recover from one flare or for your next one to begin.

I have wept in the night for the shortness of sight
    that to somebody's need made me blind;
    But I never have yet
Felt a tinge of regret for being a little to kind.

November the 18th is the 10-year anniversary of the deadly Aggie bonfire that left 12 students dead.

Texas A&M students traditionally constructed a 59-foot tower of logs for the school's annual bonfire. It was a celebration of the school's big football game against their arch-rival, the University of Texas Longhorns.

On November 18, 1999, the tower was poorly constructed. It collapsed, killing a dozen students.

“We grow great by dreams. All big men are dreamers. They see things in the soft haze of a spring day or in the red fire of a long winter's evening. Some of us let these great dreams die, but others nourish and protect them; nurse them through bad days till they bring them to the sunshine and light which comes always to those who sincerely hope that their dreams will come true.”
    - Woodrow T. Wilson

‘Never give up’: A poem by the Dalai Lama

”No matter what is going on
    Never give up
    Develop the heart
Too much energy in your country
    Is spent developing the mind
    Instead of the heart
    Be compassionate
    Not just to your friends
    But to everyone
    Be compassionate
    Work for peace
In your heart and in the world
    Work for peace
    And I say again
    Never give up
No matter what is going on around you
    Never give up. »
