Thank you for the magical weekend wishes, Thally. I just got back; at the time you sent them I was talking to Kathy Mattea!!! about nonviolent communication and was just getting a huge hug. When I learned the song by her for Christmas I was wishing to meet her. How magical does it get? I am totally psyched. I connected with her on so many levels, and talked to her about the song I wrote and want her to sing. We'll see what happens, but the next thing I have to do is take a bunch of Native med and get my voice back again, then record the song about mountaintop removal for coal. I wish you a most magical weekend too. I think this is the right vid. that I saw her perform live. And Namaste to all of you here on this page. Oops. LOL. I am psyched. Wrong song. These are 2 I heard her do today from "Coal". She is doing some awesome work to save the mountains from mining. What a mind blower when I just found out she was in Asheville today 25 minutes before she was to speak. I was 23 minutes away, made it on time and met her afterwards. So cool!

Wheatridge huh? I know Wheatridge; I went to college at Western State in the late 70's early 80's and got a degree in history. I alos went back to school and got a masters in education at the age of 48. I loved Colorado! Lots of memories there.
