Hi gang! I found TBD from a post on facebook. I was looking for a good site to join, so that was very convenient. :) I have hobbies, such as: getting better at playing the mandolin, growing cacti, and attracting humming birds to my house. I love kicking back on the porch and watching them. I created a comic strip called Woodside, but, was unsuccessful at getting it syndicated. A local paper picked it up. I drew political satire cartoons and editorial illustrations for an on-line paper. I enjoyed that a lot. So, I guess you can see I like lots of humor. :) Come chat with me sometime!

Welcome, Bill. We laugh a lot around here, so you should feel right at home.

Howdy, Bill and Karin!

I have been a member since Mar 2009, but I have not been active for several years. I introduced my friend and neighbor, Donna Geisler, to TBD. She passed away over a year ago and I was wondering how you handle that situation.

Sorry, to hear about our friend, Donna.

Richard,I believe that someone's passing is maybe the worst part of getting older. When we're younger we don't experience this very often. Since we have no control over this part of life we just have to accept it's happening. If you find yourself dwelling on this you must find something else to occupy your mind.
