On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.
Status: ITCHY!!!!!!! Ended up walking through a fire ant nest yesterday. The last time this happened, I didn't go to the DR., and it took 6 months for my feet to totally recover. Went to the Dr within about an hour yesterday, and got a couple of shots and a couple of prescriptions. Feet aren't all swollen like last time, but they are very itchy!
Wear shoes would cost less. I have heard they are awful!
How are the ants doing???
Feet are much better!!!!
Spent the weekend with Cowboy doing putzy stuff around the house. Sure was nice. :-)
I love Michigan summers. Feel for the folks out west under the heat dome...:-(
What she said...only change "Cowboy" to "Yankee Girl."
I was MIA yesterday to grandson's 4th birthday party. FUN!!!!!!!
My youngest niece is getting married soon. Time does move on...
Feeling pretty good. Helped a hungry vet today.
Awesome Tee. It's the Viet Nam vets that I worry about the most as far as eating right since agent orange caused so much diabetes.
I worry about all of them. Maybe worry is the wrong word. I'm just concerned that the members of the military get the respect, and help they deserve. The guy I met today, Frank, was in a medical unit in Beirut, and said that he had never shot anyone, but had been shot at, and seen a lot of sh*t. (his words) He has been trying to get help through the VA, but is struggling with all the red tape. I encouraged him to not give up and keep pounding on the VA because the resources are there IF you can get into the system.
My experience with the VA via husband has been that they are either pushing way too many pills at you or they are doing nothing. Wishing him the best.
