On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.
Enjoy your evening, TeeBubbaDee!
Got back from ths concert a little while ago. It was GREAT! Yes, the vocals have faded a bit, but these guys still rock. My hands hurt from clapping, my throat was raw from hooting and hollering, and my cheeks were sore from smiling. As we were walking out, I asked my wife... When was the last time you saw that many old people have that much fun? She said... Never.
Good to hear!
I'm glad the concert was good. I love seeing all those gray-haired people having a great time. Just like the old days. I saw Rich Little in Reno not long ago. Same sort of crowd.
I was outside doing basic spring yard cleanup, when the neighbor lady came over with a plate of oatmeal cookies....fresh out of the oven. So I 86ed the idea of continuing with the yardwork, and instead, went inside and scarfed down a few cookies and took a nap.
And people say that old bastards are set in their ways, and can't change. Well, I'm a big proponent of throwing out Plan A and quickly devising a Plan B. I can adapt.
I've spent the last three days standing on ladders, taping and painting over at my daughter's new house and then helping them load up and move this morning.
I'm so stiff and sore I can barely move. What's an easy-to-fix meal that goes well with half a bottle of Aleve ?
Sardines, they have a pop-top.

How did you do that?
