On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.
Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share. My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world. His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)" etc.
Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.
So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.
We're a productive bunch aren't we?
[DD--just read your comment in the "wise" discussion. Laughing my ass off right now!]
Ugh! I spent five hours today mowing the lawn at the lighthouse......the same place I mowed last summer. This is volunteer work. Last December I notified the Powers That Be there that I didn't want to do it another year.
Apparently they haven't found another volunteer, as I got a call a couple of days ago asking if I could mow again one time. I reluctantly agreed.
The grass was a foot high in lots of areas.....it was a chore, even on a rider. The bags filled up fast...lotsa stops to dump them, and several stops to unclog the chute to the bags. I gotta say, the end result looks great! I do good work!
I noticed when I got home that I now have a quarter sized bruise on the palm of my left hand. Maybe I was gripping the steering wheel too hard.
On the plus side, it was a nice day to work outside....Lake Michigan was very calm....like a sheet of glass. The sun was out....we've been waiting a long time this spring for this kind of day.
And the icing on the cake? The scenery was great! No, not THAT scenery....I'm talking about the other kind of scenery! ;0
Robbie, you sure are frisky tonight. Too bad it's so far past my bedtime & I won't get to egg any of this on, or just watch it play out. Have fun!
Yup, Robbie, there are nude beaches on lke Michigan......an unofficial one is about 30 miles from my home. Not only does the nude beach foster "perkiness", it also causes "shrinkage".
Alas, old people aren't allowed there....it just wouldn't be a pretty sight.
I'm not that young. But, yes, I was kind of an encyclopedia freak when I was a kid. Can you say "nerdy girl?"
Big smooches back!!
