Does anyone out there still listen to Nazareth (love hurts) or "Nights in white Satin" by moody blues, or "Hello" by Lionoel Richie?

I heard the Moody Blues perform Nights In White Satin live about 10 days ago. Yes, I have the vinyl album, and probably haven't played it for 3 or 4 years. But it still has a place in my heart, and probably always will. Love Hurts, yep, Lionel, not so much.

Last time I heard the Moody Blues, live, was at Filmore East in NYC...early 70's.  They were, and are one of the premiere acts that pretty much "invented" the "story" album...seamless mesh of all songs on each side into a "suite" of about 35 minutes. (I still have about 800 of the old vinyl...of which I believe about 11-13 are probably Moody Blues...even have two that are strictly Justin Hayward and John Lodge as a duo!

Ballads, huh?  So, who's gonna drive you home, tonight?

Love it.

Yes.

;^)

Christopher Cross is still around...singing on a lot of jazz vocalists tunes...

That made me smile...

Not a well known group, but they churned out some terrific acapella and harmonizing...even with the ballads, or should I say, ESPECIALLY the ballads.  Pretty laid back stuff.
