I would certainly think that the removal of the religious groups would open the door to oppression, isolation and discrimination. It is only by having a number of religious groups that any kind of compassion is shown to another. The State often does not look with compassion but with the rule of law.

It's a tricky word....
now opposition to the belief that there should no longer be an official church in a country
I stretched the word church to connote religion. I'm sure the Bible belt regions would love for Christianity to remain the dominant religion (church).

My hard candy shell has affected my mental reasoning, I don't understand the question. Does this mean there is a larger group that is in favor of having a Church of England?

antidisestablishmentarianism (n)
...originally, opposition to the disestablishment of the Church of England, now opposition to the belief that there should no longer be an official church in a country

What population lean towards engendering antidisestablishmentarianism in the US?

2 a: a favorable or unfavorable event or situation that occurs by chance : a fluctuation of state or condition b: a difficulty or hardship attendant on a way of life, a career, or a course of action and usually beyond one's control.

The Once I was...poem above is a way to express the vicissitudes of adult life.

"The most important
function of education
at any level is to develop
the personality of the individual
and the significance of his life
to himself and to others.
This is the basic architecture of a life;
the rest is ornamental and
decoration of the structure."
~Grayson Kirk
