I was in high school, I wore the bracelet with the name of a soldier MIA, and I wrote to several soldiers while they were overseas even though I didn't know them.  I didn't support the war as I got older, but I ALWAYS supported and respected our service men and women who were over there.

WELCOME HOME ...

Yep, I remember too.  Lost several good friends to that war.  God rest their souls...

I got out of the Marine Corps July 1, 1973 but never went to Vietnam. It is a private joke mostly but I often tell people I spent most of my time in a much darker place at the time, California. My brother served in Vietnam with the Army and two other brothers also served in the Army.  The War pretty much changed the course of the nation and destroyed both presidents Johnson and Nixon. I used to have this video on the old Eons site:

great song shadowman .. i hope its played 100 years from now to commemorate the complete stupidity of it all ..and maybe this one too ..

That is my brother on the left with the cigarette in his hand.

Cool.
