the news reports are looking terrible for the cold and the snow..for t and callie in the mass area...and for jo.... stay warm and safe...and for jo's hubby, stay safe and be careful out there...

Thank you Prob!  The weathermen hyped this up. There is about 5 inches of granular snow. And it IS cold and blowing, but I've seen worse, much much worse.  But when I 'blew" the driveway, it all came right back on top of me.  My scarf was literally  frozen, and I had snow INSIDE my boots, lol.

 Husband just came home.  He worked through the night.  Cold is cold and it is COOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOLD!

Ten degrees here, and about 6-8 inches of snow, depending on where you are. Looking at freezing rain tomorrow, if the temp rises like they forecasted. Not looking real good right now; I think it will be more snow. Supposed to be below zero much of next week. I hope weather doesn't mess with getting me to So. Bend for my train Thursday.

It's -9 here without the wind chill. - 10 will be the high temperature on Monday, -30 with the wind chill.

They are probably going to close the schools here on Monday and Tuesday.

Time to find someone to snuggle on the couch with, under a blanket, Chief! Put in a good movie......mix up a couple of hot toddys.....and before you know it....winter will be over. :-)

yeah .. its cold down here too.. i have a flannel shirt on .. it only made it up to the 60's here today and tomorrow it might not even get that high .. might go down to the 40's tonite .. brrrrr...

but .. ok .. just so you know .. i used to live up there in jersey and new york so i know what its like .. when i was younger i did a lot of different things .. and one of em was drive a snow plow .. and i remember back in 77 or 78 we had two blizzards right on top of each other .. maybe 3 days apart and there was so much snow the snowplow broke .. i got stranded at my job and was answerin the phones .. not somethin i ever did .. but i was the only one there .. and i did my best .. and i remember one call came in and the guy said said who is this and i said this is the president of the co. and he said you ain't the president of the co. i am .. i said not today you ain't .. unless you wanna come in here and answer the phones .. and there was a long pause .. and he finally said .. al .. is that you ?/ and i said uh huh .. and he said ok .. you can be the president today .. carry on .. it wasn't like he really had a choice .. i never did put that on my resume tho .. maybe i should have ..
