I don't use apps much since my phone does not have much memory. I use the Instacart app so I can communicate with the shopper who is doing my grocery shopping. I also used the Kasa app to set up smart plugs in my bedrooms.

I don't know if it would appeal to you, but I love cable shows that not only entertain, but teach me something. I just got Discovery + on my phone. I can watch a gazillion of my kind of show....food, home rehab, nature, history, science, technology, travel and adventure. I bring it up on my phone...and then send it to my TV and watch on the big screen. I also have a couple of game apps....and my Walmart app for ordering groceries for pick-up.
