I B OK !  Just busy and not finding enough time to come here to Bookoholics.  I think the last time I signed in, there was nothing new, and I thought we had gone the way of the horse and buggy!  Hope Thanksgiving was good to you all.

Yes, Merry Christmas to all.  We may find books to take us to different times and places, to expand our opinions and make the magic real

Just a quick message to everyone ... Although I am not very active either here or other social media, I am still alive and well! LOL! I would like to wish y'all a Merry Christmas, Happy Hanukkuh, or whatever special holiday you may hold dear. Here's hoping that once the holidays are over, I can possibly find a little time to kick back and tackle some of that TBR pile of books that's always lurking on my night stand. LOL!

If you have ever enjoyed the books of Pat Conroy, placed mostly in the South Carolina low country, you may be saddened to learn he died yesterday at age 70.  Here is a collection of blogs he wrote recently that may be of interest.  Of course, there is some classic literature he has left to will define him as one of America's great southern writers.  http://patconroy.com/wp/

I am on a quest to reread some of the great literature put out over the years by Jeffery Archer, the famous and infamous, English author who spent 2 years in prison for a libel conviction in which he did not defend himself.  He is a year younger than me at 75 now but still writing.  I am rereading the classic 5 book saga of the Clifton Chronicles and the last book in the series has been released with a summary of the tale. The deal is only $2.99 from Amazon.  http://www.amazon.com/Mightier-than-Sword-Chronicles-Analysis-ebook...
