Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Perhaps somewhat surprisingly, P.A., I'm not a real big fan of BBQ.....and I'm the guy that got to work at a rib joint for two summers!  I usually got the chicken strips and onion rings for my duty meal!   ;0))))

I had a hamburger patty w/sauteed mushrooms & onions & a side of yellow squash, sauteed w/onions. In other words, I had some hamburger, mushrooms & squash w/my grilled onions. It wasn't wholly satisfying though, so now I'm having a bowl of cereal.

Why, I'll have you know, Deez, that years ago, while working in Florida, and after pounding down several brews after work at a Ramada Inn bar, my native Floridian coworker looked at me and said...."ya know, you're the only Yankee I ever cared to know".

I was quite flattered, although several months later I helped get his ass fired for working too slow!   ;]

I threw together a quick stir fry with some fresh broccoli and chicken over rice. Not great, but not terrible.
