Right now take-out Chinese sounds good. Except my favorite place doesn't deliver and I don't want to go out. In the heat. And the rain. And the Tornado warning.

Caleb and I went to Farmer's Family Buffet. I ate a ribeye steak, mashed potatoes, pinto beans and cherry pie. Caleb ate prime rib, mac and cheese and ice cream.

A mixed green salad with cherry tomatoes and ranch dressing, popcorn shrimp and fried potatoes, and fresh strawberries for dessert.
And microwave popcorn a little later on.

I made my chili. Bush's chili starter, diced tomatoes with green chilies, 1 lb. Morningstar Farms fake hamburger. Mix it all up and heat it until it boils for about 5 min. fill bowl with chili and crackers, Preferably Wheastsworth, but any will do. Eat and repeat.

Rosy Baked Beans!
What are Rosy Baked Beans, you ask?
Someone posted a recipe in one of the Facebook groups I belong to, for the baked beans, as made for the chuckwagon cookouts put on at Roosevelt Lodge in Yellowstone National Park. I made a batch a couple of months ago, and froze up meal sized containers. It was really good, so I made some more today.
You have to know that anything containing four kinds of beans, cayanne pepper, onions, and bacon and sausage still immersed in the grease they generated in cooking, all in one meal, would be right up my alley! Yee-Um!
