I think he was alluding to Nashville/country music, P.A., being the home of the music of white people.

H-m-m-m-m.....Memphis....The Blues....also, Booker T....Rufus Thomas.....a few others come to mind, that might refute THAT stereotype.

He said Michigan was the home of Cereal (Lower Peninsula), and serial killers (Upper Peninsula).  Jeez...and to think, I just spent 5 days in the U.P.  Lucky I didn't get my ass shot off, I guess!

I've heard of hardly any of those stereotypes, but then again, what do I know....I'm a cereal eater.

You are probably right Stir. I know that I enjoy the music in Memphis much more than that in Nashville. There is amazing live music in both places however.

Stereotypes as reported by a smartass kid, and then broadcast on YouTube (I'm presuming), has garnered enough of my time now.

As for the Nashville sound, that ran out of steam for me about forty years ago, when the songs started being written and played with more than three chords.  ;-0

Well, I'm from the Empire State. Empire meaning we are better than everyone else.

I don't know about everybody else, but I live in the state of denial.

Funes, I always wanted to visit New York city cause I think it would be cool to see the Entire State Building.

In California every day is casual Friday and you eat with both hands.  My kind of place.
Sounds good to me, Westerly!
Texas is a state of mind.
Rick Perry's mind?
LOL and his magic corndog wand...............................proving once again that it's never too late to change the channel.
I thought Bush embarrassed this state enough, but I think Perry may pass him.
I never thought I'd say this, i didn't think it was possible, but you're right!
