TBD

TBD on Ning

Table tennis. Ping Pong. Call it what you like. But don't call it like the love of my life did.  I love to play ping pong. I grew up with a table in our garage. I played at college during breaks. I even cut classes to play ping pong. My grades only suffered once when my whole biochemistry class cut class one day and the professor found us in the student lounge ,some playing pool, chess, checkers, foozball, ping pong, and failed us all on a surprise exam.

But getting back to ping pong. In my 20s, I played in a league once a week. I even entered a USTTA.(United States Table Tennis Association ) tournament once but lost in the first round. I play great defense, can smash the ball with spin and placement. Yes. ping pong.  It was in my 30s I met Teri. She was truly my first and only love. We had so much in common. We made each other laugh. I could be myself with her. Perhaps you might say she was my soul mate. I wanted to be with her every waking and sleeping hour and she felt the same about me. I felt that we would be married for sure.

It was during a simple conversation over brunch when I mentioned my skill and love for ping pong. Apparently, I had never mentioned it before. Teri startled me by saying that to her ping pong was as exciting as watching the grass grow. That was it. I wanted nothing to do with the bitch. After our one week of dating, I ended it.  So I sadly put myself back into the world of being single.  and Teri?  How did I know she'd become the editor of Lawn and Garden Magazine?
