TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Going to Disney World.

On the road to Pittsburgh to meet some friends to share kolaches and beer.

You'll probably pass my old stomping grounds in OH. by less than 10 miles Aggie.

Went by Montpelier last night by Dolley was not home, headin to Monticello.

Just got back from Disney. Hope your having a great time Aggie!!!!! Of course with friends, beer and kolaches, I don't think it gets much better.

Blue sky and sunshine all day......there is hope!!!!

Can we call you the sunshine man yet Bob? The universe is being good to me the last few days, I'm suspicious.

Tai Chi early in the morning and art at dawn and channeling Donna Reed for the rest of the day to get the house spruced up for Spring. AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH Summer in Maine. >>>>Two months of really bad sledding.

I'm sitting here pondering the propensity many states have for ironic funding--like building casinos to fund gambling recovery programs; selling cigarettes to fund lung, throat, and mouth cancer research; or, as in NH--selling booze at a state-run liquor store at a REST STOP on a TURNPIKE to fund alcohol recovery and safe-driving programs.

Here's another ironic event about to happen in NH--I just signed the petition, and perhaps some of you would want to...

Subject: Ask NH Chiefs of Police to Give Up the Gun Giveaway

The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police is raising money for police cadet camp with a raffle that gives away a gun a day in the month of May. The first listed gun prize is a Ruger SR-556C, a semiautomatic weapon.

The New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police have received an offer from a concerned citizen's group to buy out the raffle, covering the price of all tickets sold, and a jeweler is willing to used the melted guns to create items to benefit victims of gun violence. Ask the New Hampshire Association of Chiefs of Police to take the win/win option and save lives.

There is a petition to Chief Paul Donovan, President of NH Chiefs of Police, which says:

"Give up the gun giveaway and accept the offer of a buyback of all of the raffle tickets."

Will you sign this petition? Click here:

And posted on another group I frequent.

Kisses, oh Proactive One.
