STATUS UPDATE

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

 

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Thank you, Ma'am. We're used to hot weather here as I think you are in your area although thisis a bit extreme, even for here. We average 16 days of 100+ per year, but we're already way past that.

I feel for the people who have to work in the heat and for those that don't have some sort of air conditioning. There have been 9 heat related deaths in this area already. Cooling stations are provided and the surrounding counties are providing window RAC's free of charge to those who can't afford them, as well as help with the higher electric bills. We actaully handle this better than if it were 5 degrees for 32 straight days.
