TBD on Ning

So here we are looking around, taking a peek... hanging out.

On some thread a bit ago, some one said how annoying the FB was with all the trivial updating goings on.

Personally, I don't think my daily updating is all that interesting but some times I really feel the need to share.  My kitties don't give a whit and the bird...well, he lives in his own world.  His updates would mostly involve "lived another day"..."got some of that shredded stuff again (cheese)"  etc.

Mostly, I have you fine folks to droll on about my meager existence and occasional moments of wonderful.

So, here you go...Keep it brief...mundane with a bit of intrigue.

Wish I could ((((hug)))) you.   :-)
I like it here.
So do I.
It was 86 degrees and overcast at sun up this morning, but......17 rain drops hit my windshield on the way to the store.

Laundry is not done.

Neither is Ironing.

O well...

You iron clothing ?? I only iron for quilt making.

Of course , I usually wear jammies in my studio.

It's 61degrees here in Maine , which is kinda chilly.

Merry, You will understand this. Bryan called today. I was driving in Knoxville Traffic. Had missed

a turn. Answered the phone anyway. He said he was waiting to get on the plane. They had moved the deployment up a day. I knew that I should be saying something inspirational but couldn't think of anything. We just talked a little with some long silences and then he had to go. "Love you Dad"

"Love you too Bryan" and he is gone. It sure was a lot easier when it was me going off to war. Sending  a Son or Daughter off is a hell of a lot harder.

Cannot imagine a harder thing to do..being the child or the parent.

Yes , I understand that very much.

Got thunder and lightning...sweet cool rain.  Love it.

Would somebody bring me a Scotch, please? I want a nightcap, but I'm too tired to get up & get it.

I worked all day, then took an hour barbells/weight class THEN came back home & spent another hour mowing the lawn & hauling boxes & trash to the curb. I feel good, but I'd really like a Scotch, and my body won't get up off the sofa.

'Bless yer heart'
