TBD

TBD on Ning

Via internet stream you can listen to a variety of interesting music.

Google WQNA to find the stream. The show is called Fear and Loathing in Springfield and it airs 6 - 9PM CST on Sunday evenings.

It may uplift the downtrodden and down trod the uplifted. Some may faint, others may experience moments of rage and in some cases hilarity.

Big ol'

I wish more people here would check out the music. Or maybe you and I are the only alternative music lovers (whatever the hell that means) left on TBD.

I don't know where WQNA is on the dial, from here.(Sacramento)

Go here, Westerly: http://wqna.radio.net/   From Snagg:  "The show is called Fear and Loathing in Springfield and it airs 6 - 9PM CST on Sunday evenings. "

I often just pull up songs I don't remember, or want to listen to again, on YouTube. That works, although it's not as much fun as listening to Snagg's show.

I humbly thanks our good Sister Angharad for spreading the holy gospel of ear-shrivelling pandemonium and sentiment-defiling interpretay-shuns of beloved cultural touchstones. Yowzah, yowzah, yowzah. SOMEBODY gots ta have some mercy, 'cause I sure won't.

Hopefully I'll be over this case of the walking respiratory crud-cakes, and will be doing the show next Suns-a-day. Selah.

This version of "Heartattack And Vine" reminds me of a slower "Monster Mash." No sensible reason why.

And of course I had to put on my assless chaps for "Bonanza." Just to be crystal clear, the chaps are assless, not me.

Ever reliable great programming, Snagg.  Thanks.

Hey, could you fit in a 60th birthday tribute on Sunday 9/23 to Draughn (pronounced "Drawn") from his traveling star with eternal love? If not, it's okay. (His birthday's actually on the 22nd.)

The song would be Tom Waits "Take One Last Look."

Thanks so much for including the dedication, Snagg. Of course, my f**cking DSL was down and I couldn't hear it, but just knowing someone did makes me happy.

Geez, I don't think I'd heard John Hammond since the 80s. Nice to hook up again. He's one of those guys who never made the commercial success he deserves. But, hell, he has the respect of so many great musicians and such a loyal fan base, he probably doesn't care.

Had to dance to Ferry's In Crowd, of course.

Great line-up, as always, Snagg.
